We have released details for further workshops, this time to Algonquin Park in the Spring in May 2006 where we will have ample opportunities to shoot moose as well as the splendor that is Algonquin. We are also releasing a second workshop in this same locale entitled Algonquin Park in the Fall to take place in October 2006 where we will concentrate on capturing the final bursts of color in these great Canadian woodlands.

Added a new Gallery by Location entry, the second showing Georgian Bay and the Islands, this time in the fall, entitled Georgian Bay Islands in the Fall containing shots from the region around Barrie, Ontario, located on the shores of Georgian Bay. While the area is a popular location for summer cottages for those living in Toronto, it is never crowded to the point of being uncomfortable. In fact, this is "getting away from it all" in many ways considering how densly populated the area is in general.

Added a new Gallery by Location entry, the last of three in this series, entitled Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland - Tablelands containing shots from the Tablelands region of the park. This unique region of Canada is a rarity in and of itself resulting in its designation as a UNESCO World Heritage site. All this in Gros Morne, the often-overlooked gem of the Canadian National Parks system located in our eastern-most province of Newfoundland. A must-see for all those who love the great outdoors and those photographers who consider themselves to be Landscape Artists.

Added a new Gallery by Location entry entitled Whiteface Mountain, New York in the Fall. This gallery is a variety of images taken as we drove to the summit of Whiteface Mountain, an interest and mentally challenging road in Upstate New York, close to Lake Placid.

Added a new gallery in the Gallery by Location index with a collection of images taken during late summer of the Georgian Bay Islands around the Barrie, Ontario area of the Great Lakes.

Added the ability for visitors to add themselves to a mailing list that will periodically update them as to what's new on the Scenic Sensations site. This notification will be via an email sent to individuals who have subscribed by adding their name to this new list. This List Management System will permit users to add themselves to the distribution list, subsequently maintain the information supplied and, if desired, to remove themselves from the list.

Scenic Sensations has started using a new approach to their image galleries. This new approach uses Flash-based software to present the photographs as a self-running slide show. The first of these shows is now available online on our site found on the Galleries by Location page or you can go directly to the slide show by clicking on Petrie Island (Ottawa, Ontario) in Winter.
